This device is made of high-quality materials. It consists of a belt and cuffs for the hips. The main feature is that the Gnevkovsky device has a large range of adjustment, because the cuffs are connected to the belt using hinged locks. Thus, it is possible to decrease or increase both the abduction and the girth of the waist and legs.
Due to its special design, it is recommended for use in the following indications:
- in case of hip dysplasia syndrome
- in case of congenital hip dislocation at different periods of the child’s growth;
- in the postoperative period of treatment of congenital hip dislocation;
- for dosed abduction of the lower limbs in the treatment of spasticity.
This device provides stable fixation, as well as maximum comfort. It helps to maintain the head of the femur in the correct position, while the normal formation of the hip joints occurs. For greater comfort, determine the correct size.
