The Shantz collar will help with torticollis in babies, and also helps to heal bruises, headaches and various injuries.
Indications:
- birth traumatic brain injury and cerebrovascular accidents in newborns;
- headaches and dizziness due to instability of the cervical spine;
- using the Shantz collar, muscular torticollis in children can be cured;
- contusions, myositis, rotational subluxation of the 1st and 2nd cervical vertebrae;
- osteochondrosis and spondyloarthrosis, including those with local pain and radicular syndrome;
- pathological position of the head in children with mild forms of cerebral palsy;
- rehabilitation after operations on the cervical spine.
Provides:
- moderate fixation of the cervical spine and head;
- unloading the bodies of the cervical vertebrae and the muscular-ligamentous apparatus of the neck.
