Massage mat "Ortek Mix Puzzles" 8 elements + "Pebbles"
- Brand: Ortek
- Product Code: 13175
- Availability: In Stock
The massage mat consists of 8 puzzle tiles + 28 “Stone” modules.
It is made of hygienic, hypoallergenic PVC-based material.
The stones are colorful and vary in shape and size — from 2 to 4 cm. This creates a realistic imitation of sea pebbles while remaining bright and lightweight. The stones stimulate the feet and palms, promoting sensory development.
Small elements and “move-attach-press” tasks help train fine motor skills: fingers become more dexterous, coordination and grip strength improve.
A child can place colorful stones on the puzzle, sort them by color, arrange them freely, or try to create shapes like a mosaic. The elements are securely fixed to the puzzle, allowing free walking on them while massaging the feet.
Module size: 26x26 cm
What the massage mat can do:
- promotes proper formation of a child’s foot;
- improves muscle tone, strengthening the longitudinal and transverse arches of the foot;
- actively improves blood circulation;
- relieves tension in the legs by stimulating nerve endings.
Application:
- prevention of flat feet, clubfoot, valgus deformity, and other deformities;
- prevention of varicose veins, arthrosis, and arthritis;
- relief from the feeling of tired legs.
All puzzle tiles are made from the same material — safe, hypoallergenic PVC without harmful additives. However, due to different textures, they feel different. Grass, shells, pebbles, and mushrooms belong to the softer puzzles. Towers, Hedgehogs, Sea, and Acorns are medium. Pyramid, Spikes, Lotus, and Cones belong to the firmer puzzles. The combination of surfaces with different hardness provides the best effect for massage, foot training, and sensory integration.
Exercise set:
- Walking on the mat back and forth (30–40 seconds).
- Starting position — standing, rising onto the toes (7–9 times).
- Standing position — rolling from heel to toe (30–40 seconds).
- Cross-step walking on the mat (30–40 seconds).
- Walking on the inner side of the foot (30–40 seconds).
- Walking on the outer side of the foot (30–40 seconds).
- Walking on tiptoes (30–60 seconds).
- Squats with full foot support, keeping heels on the mat (7–9 times).
- Standing balance on one leg, then the other (20–30 seconds).
- Jumping from one element to another (7–9 times).
- Jumping on one leg, then the other (6–8 times).
- Semi-squat position, walking on the mat (20–30 seconds).
This is a complete workout using the Ortek massage mat. The child lays out the puzzles, you turn on the video — and the child exercises!
It is recommended to practice 3–5 times a week. After one month of regular training, you may notice results in your child. Most likely, the muscles will become stronger and the gait more confident.
Contraindications:
- Open wounds or inflammatory processes on the skin of the feet;
- Diabetic foot syndrome.
Mats with 10 and 12 elements are also available.
The color range may differ from that shown on the website.
